Company Policies (Terms and Agreement)



1. DEFINITION


In this agreement, the following expressions shall have the following meanings unless the context requires otherwise:


"STRIKE" shall mean STRIKE Academy Pte. Ltd. And is the business entity so named whose registered address is 50 Tagore Lane, Entrepreneur Centre #05-03 S(787494), business registration number 200711466W.


"Student" shall mean the person who enters into an agreement with STRIKE to receive lessons in bowling.

"Programme" shall mean the relevant bowling programme and activities conducted by STRIKE for the Student.


"Fees" shall mean the fees payable by the student to STRIKE for being allowed to attend all or some of the lessons in the Programme and which amount is indicated on the application form overleaf.


"Management" includes STRIKE, its proprietors, its employees and all instructors and coaches appointed by or invited by STRIKE to give lessons on bowling.


"Premise" shall mean all the premises rented or used by STRIKE to conduct its lessons.


"Curriculum" shall mean the syllabus for the teaching of bowling lessons in the programmes.



2. THE MANAGEMENT


2.1. The Management shall have the right to amend, vary, add to or remove the whole or any part of the Curriculum as the Management in its absolute discretion deems fit and without having to give any prior notice to the Student.


2.2. The Management shall have the right to increase or reduce the length of the Programme or any of the lessons in the Programme and it shall also have the right to vary the time, day and date of any lessons.


2.3. The Management shall have the right to make, amend, vary or add to or remove any rules that the management in its absolute discretion deems necessary for the smooth running of the Programme or any lessons therein.


2.4. The Management reserves the right in its absolute discretion to accept or reject any application for registration.


2.5. The Management reserves the right to use photography or video to record the activities of its Students. The Student acknowledges and grants the Management absolute right to use such photographs or videos for STRIKE's marketing or publicity purposes as the Management deems fit.



3. EXEMPTION AND INDEMNITY


3.1. The safety of the Students is of utmost importance to us. However, the Management shall not be responsible or held liable to:



3.1.1. Any loss or damage to property whatsoever and howsoever caused;


3.1.2. Any personal injury, death or illness howsoever caused except for the death or personal injury caused directly by the Management's negligence. Without prejudice to clause 3.1 above, the Student shall indemnify and keep the Management fully indemnified against all claims and demands arising from or attributable to (whether in whole or in part) the act/s or omission/s of the Student,



4. FEES & DEPOSIT


4.1. The Fees as well as the membership fees are payable in one lump sum prior to the commencement of the Programme. Fees must be paid even for lesson days that fall on government-gazetted public holidays or designated "off days" by STRIKE and its Management. STRIKE reserves the right to issue up to four "off days" within a calendar year. This is to allow its Management to receive training or to participate in tournaments.


4.2. The Fees cover lessons conducted by STRIKE and may or may not include additional charges that may be incurred as part of the Programme (e.g. field trips, tournaments)


4.3. Deposit of $150 is required. Deposit will be refunded within 1 week upon termination of lessons, subject to one month written notice of termination and no outstanding fees and/or lane fees.


4.4. Payment of Fees and membership fees maybe paid via Bank Transfer to DBS 015-901863-6 ( current account ) or PAYNOW to UEN 200711466W ( STRIKE Academy Private Limited).


4.5. The Management reserves the right to amend its methods and schedules for receiving payment for Programmes as it deems fit.


4.6. The Management also reserves the right to remove any Student who fails to pay its Fees on time. Thereafter, the Student will lose his/her membership rights and privileges at STRIKE and his/her Programme slot will be given to other Students.




5. REPLACEMENT LESSONS


5.1. Students who are unable to attend any lesson(s) must inform the Management at least (24) hours in advance in order to qualify for replacement lessons.


5.2. A maximum of two (2) replacement lessons will be provided for each Programme. There will be no replacement for classes that falls on the Public Holidays; capped at maximum 2 times a year. Please request for replacements with our Administrator.


5.3. Quarterly Medal (QM) constitutes one normal lesson.


5.4. Replacement lessons will be conducted within existing Programme schedules.


5.5. To ensure a conducive environment for learning for all Students, replacement lessons are subject to availability within existing Programme schedules.


5.6. While the Management will endeavour to provide replacement lessons, it reserves the right to not provide replacement lessons if it deems disruptive to existing Programmes.


5.7. There will be no further replacement lessons provided for Students who missed their originally scheduled replacement lessons.


5.8. There will be no replacement lessons for lessons that fall on Public Holidays or on days designated by the Management as "off days". Please refer to clause 4.1.


5.9. In the event of medical emergencies, please notify us ASAP by any means and BEFORE the start of the class, with ACKNOWLEDGEMENT; followed by a copy of the medical certificate(s). Else, lesson would would be considered attended and lane fees will be payable. If we are not aware before lesson starts , all planned resources will be committed accordingly to ensure classes can be conducted without disruptions.


5.10. All lesson and credits to replaced and completed by end of term. No carry foward.
